Can you hook up a power wire for an amp into te fuse box in a 1998 GMC truck?

i have my rca and speaker wires ran down my passenger side of my truck along with my power wire, i believe this is the cause of an interference wistle. there are two post on the fuse box on the driver side. is it possible to tie into this as a power source, or is that not even a power location
