My dog ignores my recall?

My dog is generally very good and sweet, I walk her off leash in the park (only the park) and I have no qualms that she will run off, she always stays in sight. But she won't recall, I have tried using treats at random intervals, and tried praise at random intervals. I use a happy cheery voice for the first recall and if she doesn't come in 10seconds, I use a lower sterner voice. This usually works but when other people or dogs are involved, I can't get her attention at all. She has this fascination of greeting and expecting attention from everyone. If someone so much as pets her once on the head or even say anything to her for that matter, I swear she would follow them home! This almost happened once where she followed a woman out the park, luckily the woman walked back to me but I need to iron this out. Since being off the lead in the park an hour a day she has been a wonderful dog at home, no house soiling, no separation anxiety, she's generally happier and amazing so I want to avoid taking the park away from her at all costs. She was awful before the park walks and use to tear up the house. When I recall at home and use commands she is extremely obedient and obeys straight away. But a puddle or a bug, or a nice smelling tree for that matter in the park and that's it I'm ignored. I've heard that I'm meant to call her once in a stern voice an if I get no response I quietly walk upto her and leash her for awhile or take her Home. I've tried this, but she explores too fast for an average human being to catch up with her. It's impossible for me to do that, I can't get her. Should I just keep following until I can get her n leash her? If this takes 20mins tho, she won't associate the fact she's being leash to ignoring my recall. Like I said, I don't feel Insecure that she will run off completely, but as soon as something interests her, I can't get her attention and it's driving me insane. She is a malamute btw, 3years old. What other ways can I get her to understand that when I say 'here' I mean business. One last thing, I have never called her for punishment, only good things.

If a man expects his wife to cook sometimes, then no he shouldn't marry her if that's not what she wants to do. Some women don't like to cook, but they do because they have to. I just got a Babycakes Cake Pop maker, and I love it! The only issue I'm having is dipping them. I've inserted the sticks (with some melted candy melts), and I've let them chill. When I melt my candy melts though, the consistency is still really thick. It's almost like a frosting, and it makes it really difficult to dip the pops in it. I even make sure to use a deep bowl so I can fully submerge the pops, but it's the consistency that's the problem. Any tips? I microwave the melts for a couple 30 second intervals.

2011 Jeep Wrangler jammed passenger seat!!!?

I recently purchased a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport, but my passenger seat has jammed or locked. I used to be able to use the lever on the side and the seat would tumble down and slide forward, and then would go back to its original position. But recently when I pull on the lever, the seat only tumbles forward but doesn't slide forward or backwards, now what I am wondering is if the seat is locked somehow, or jammed. Condenser Mic Interference?

A while back I bought a Nady CM-88 condenser mic so I could record with my band. I bought the mic, and I kept picking up a radio station. Since my uncle seemed more than happy to give me this phantom power supply, I figured that the power supply was giving me interference. The other day I got another condenser mic, and hooked it up to the phantom power. No interference. As soon as I plugged the CM-88 in, I picked up the radio station. Hi, I'm 18, and I have anorexia nervosa an have dealt with it since I was 15, I was bullied at school because I was fat so I took drastic measures, I urge you not to start, I am trying to recover and it is the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my 18years on this earth, I have been in hospital 3 times over the last 2 months and let me tell you what it's like, I wasn't aloud out of my bed, wasn't aloud my phone or laptop, no communication with my friends and family for a week the first time and 2 weeks and 5days the second time, eating disorders kill and I know that as I continue to struggle and have serious health issues relating to my anorexia, I have heart problems which have to be monitored. I dont think I'm thin but everyone around me says I look like a walking skeleton, I hate making everyone so worried and scared, I am currently thinking about entering a rehab program for my eating disorder :) please get help if you need it :)

What's the best way to demonstrate to an adult that temper tantrums are a turn off?

Some people love to display a temper tantrum and I use the word display because the person I know will never throw the tantrum in another room where there is no audience. I can't help but wonder that if they got to see what an adult temper tantrum looks like, they just might realize how silly they look. Video taping the person is not an option because he's threatened me that if I ever do that, I'll be sorry. Are there perhaps any movies in which a character throws frequent embarrassing temper tantrums? If the person I knew had a better sense of humor, I would love to do a montage of his tantrums and between clips show toddlers doing similar tantrums. I'm not to good at making videos anyway, so I couldn't do it even if he did have a sense of humor. When someone held a mirror to my face, so to speak, to show how much talking I do about topics that interest no one but me, I learned to tone that habit down. This particular person loves to rant so much that he exaggerates his reaction to something on tv news. I swear he thinks tantrums make him cool. He has often implied that people who don't get angry and fight back are losers. The only problem is, there is no "enemy" he is fighting when he throws a tantrum and breaks a lamp. He has done that as a reaction to a news story about gang violence, yet there were no gang members in the room. He loves his anger so much that I've seen him pick fights with perfect strangers and no matter how you try to demonstrate that he picked a fight for no reason, he will justify his actions by inventing some offense he caught the person doing. Even though he has been known to stop in a discreet area with pretty much no one around to pee in a bush when he really had to go but couldn't find a bathroom, he tried to beat someone up when he caught them doing the same thing. All of a sudden, it became a "cause" for him to fight to the death over. He seems to love his tantrums so much that when he does them he has no qualms in doing so because he'll just apologize later and it starts sounding insincere after a while. Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

School Fundraising EVENT for charity?

How about selling soft pretzels? Most people I know love them. At my school we were able to raise money for prom by selling them from 1-3 times a week during lunch time, which I think is the best time to sell them since a lot of people don't like school lunch. 2 pretzels for a dollar and one for .75 cents is how much they cost for us, just an idea of how much you would want people to spend. They would also have mustard and brown bags for them if they needed one. I'm not sure how much we made from it but I know we made a lot from it since our prom tickets only costed 50 where as other high schools have to pay up to a 100 just for one ticket. Good luck!

I have a question about a interference with official acts citation I recieved.?

I'm a motel mgr. and one of my long term occupants was beaten up by her boyfriend. She called the cops. The police arrived when I was walking the lot making my rounds after closing. The first officer that arrived asked who I was. I told him "I'm the manager" he said "Go back to your office". I said, " I have to make my rounds first". He didn't reply with any kind of answer and i walked on. I stayed 48 feet from the so called scene. Which was inside the room with the door closed. The officers were knocking on the door trying to get the perp to open the door. They asked the victim for her key, she said I don't have it. One of the officers said, I will go to the office to see if the mgr. has a key, the officer who I spoke to originally said "the mgr. is down there"pointing in my direction. He then yelled down to me and asked if I had my keys on me. I said yes i do. He sent the other officer to get them. I showed him wich key it was and explained how to open the door. He brought the keys back to me. A minute later the first officer yelled down to me again, "do you have a deadbolt key on your keys by any chance?" I said yes I do, do you need it? He sent the other officer down again to get them from me. I showed him wich key it was and in the middle of explaining to the officer that he was going to have to unlock the other lock again because they automaticlly lock, mind you, the officer was standing next to me the whole time i'm showing him the keys, the other officer yells at me to get away from the crime scene. I didnt know who he was yelling at until I looked up and seen him looking at me, I said "What? he said, I'm not going to tell you again, or you will be under arrest for interference with official acts. I replied " I'm giving him the keys you requested" he then said "thats it, and walked over to me and put my hands behind my back and told me I was under arrest for interference with official acts. My parents are blowing up at me over something I did not do?
