2011 Jeep Wrangler jammed passenger seat!!!?

I recently purchased a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport, but my passenger seat has jammed or locked. I used to be able to use the lever on the side and the seat would tumble down and slide forward, and then would go back to its original position. But recently when I pull on the lever, the seat only tumbles forward but doesn't slide forward or backwards, now what I am wondering is if the seat is locked somehow, or jammed. I attempted to look under the seat to see any visible signs of interference, but I'm not going to lie I was kinda lost. But from what I saw I saw that all the cable were in the right place and seemed to be connected, but can anyone help me please!!!
